Sched Terms of Service
These terms apply when an organization or its workforce uses Sched. Your employer may provide additional workplace policies.
Using Sched for an organization
If you create or administer an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for your employer and accept these terms on its behalf. You must provide accurate information, configure access appropriately, and follow applicable employment, privacy, records, and communications laws.
Organization-provisioned accounts
An employer may create, invite, manage, suspend, or remove your workplace membership. The organization controls roles, locations, permissions, and employer records. Keep credentials confidential, use only your own account, and notify your organization or Sched promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You remain responsible for activity performed with your credentials where permitted by law.
Acceptable workplace content
Use Sched only for lawful workplace purposes. Do not upload or send harassment, threats, malware, unlawful discrimination, deceptive instructions, content that violates another person's rights, or sensitive information your organization has not authorized. Do not probe, disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security or usage limits. Organizations are responsible for moderating their content, files, integrations, and user access.
Scheduling, payroll, and compliance limitations
Sched provides workflow tools and configurable warnings; it is not legal, tax, payroll, or scheduling advice. Estimates, labor warnings, exports, availability, and recommendations may be incomplete or depend on organization settings and user input. Employers remain responsible for schedules, staffing, wages, breaks, payroll, recordkeeping, employee notices, collective agreements, and compliance with laws that apply to their workplace. Review information before relying on it or sending it to a payroll provider.
Service changes and availability
We work to keep Sched reliable, but maintenance, security work, provider outages, and product changes may affect availability. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. Organizations should keep any records they are independently required to retain.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to protect users or the service, respond to legal requirements, address material or repeated breaches, or when an organization stops using Sched. An employer may separately disable a workforce membership. Account deletion follows the published cancelable deletion process and does not require deletion of employer-retained records that must remain for legitimate or legal purposes.
Data responsibilities
The organization is generally the data controller for workforce data and is responsible for notices, permissions, lawful instructions, access requests, retention choices, and connected providers. Sched processes that information to provide and secure the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Each party will reasonably cooperate with valid privacy and security obligations.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Sched is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free, that every configuration will satisfy a particular law or agreement, or that recommendations and exports will be complete for every workplace. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sched is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, or losses caused by an organization's staffing, payroll, legal, content, integration, or access decisions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will post the revised date here. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to neima@nakhaee.us.
